So this picture is actually from a few days ago. My dad, my brother-in-law and three out seven children running in the surf outside of my parent's condo around sunset. It was a beautiful day. Since then, my husband has taken our older two children, joined his family, and gone to Disney World leaving me alone at my parent's with our youngest child, who is about to turn 2. We've been having lovely quiet days. I've been getting a lot of writing done, a lot of sitting on the porch watching the waves from the security of the shade. I am a redhead. I don't care how much sunblock I put on, I burn.
Right now there is a minor crisis going on. The fridge in my mom's house has broken and the repair people may or may not be able to replace the motor today. Very frustrating and I feel terrible for my mom. Although we're her family, we are still company, and it has to be awful to have major appliance failure during a visit.
But we're very happy and I'm contemplating writing another chapter now.
