Six Sentence Sunday

Hi everyone!! Happy Mother's Day to those of you who are Mothers! My kids have given me my mother's day gifts from them. They couldn't seem to wait. I got a necklace with one son's picture on it and a card from the others. The baby, well, if he could be happy all day that would be a gift! If the DH has gotten me something, I'm not sure what it as I post this. LOL. But, everyone is healthy and happy and that is mother's day to me!

Anyway, my book Driven: The Warrior Book 2 in my YA series is releasing from Decadent Publishing this Friday. (YAY!) If you'd like to see the first book, Initiation, you can find it here. In the meantime, here are 6 sentences from Driven.

I stood in front of the Warrior Council, shifting my weight from one foot to the other, as I tried to make myself breathe. The Council was filled with people I thought highly of and who had been good friends to me when I‟d needed them, even staging a revolution on my behalf.

Tonight, however, I couldn‟t help but feel they took some of their anger out on me. They had literally started shouting when I had told them what happened down in Genesis. I hadn‟t made the Vampires dig their tunnel up against the wall. It wasn‟t my fault. I simply had the bad luck to be the one who had felt them.
